Helping teams turn complex work into measurable results

I make priorities, ownership, risks and dependencies easier to see, so good people spend less time coordinating and more time building. Outside of work, I’m curious about a lot of things: our family, life on our farm, money, chess and whatever project comes next.

Experience

Work I’m proud of

01

Bringing clarity to complex work

I make priorities, owners, risks and dependencies visible, so leaders across product, engineering, data, risk and privacy can make decisions and move together. That includes regulated work where mistakes affect real customers.

02

Building the operating model behind the work

Pods, epic ownership, flexible capacity, living roadmaps and operating reviews: the system that lets an organization keep its commitments even as priorities change.

03

Developing people

Coaching Scrum Masters, Product Owners and new leaders, and covering for teams when they need it. Two Product Owners asked me to stay with their teams permanently after I filled in.

04

Building with AI, with me in charge

I use AI every day to build faster. It has helped me ship dozens of apps, games and tools, and more than a dozen are live sites people use today. You can see them on my Projects page. The ideas, the product calls, the testing and the final say are mine. AI speeds up the building, but deciding what’s worth building and knowing when something isn’t right still takes a person. That’s the same judgment I bring to delivery work.

Lessons I’ve learned

01

Learning by doing

Building a comic business, paying down debt and helping others budget, becoming a first-generation farmer, and building apps and games for fun. Every new challenge teaches me something I bring back to work.
